Better Days
Some happy news – A friend of a friend of Jody Porter of Fountains Of Wayne reports that FOW have just signed a deal with a subsidiary of Virgin Records and the new album will be out in a couple months. All production work is complete, it just needs to be slotted and marketed. I am surprised they’ve latched on with a major label again, but hope that they at least get some good tour support so they can make it up to Canada before they’re dropped again.
Cynical? Me? Never.
Addendum – I’m reading on the Ivy mailing list that the new FOW album is called ‘Mexican Wine’.
