I had checked out the setlist from a few shows prior and he had typically been closing with the tune. The whole show felt kind of by the numbers for me with Petty looking particularly unenthused. That is until I watched the documentary "Runnin' Down a Dream" the day after show and apparently that is just his delivery. So time constraints it must have been.
