Quite right, they were as solid as ever despite the lineup change, if slightly less fashionable without Carlos (aka Crispin Glover). And that was one seriously loud show, I really have to start wearing earplugs, especially at the Haus. So that was Brandon Curtis on keys? I had no idea, silly me. Makes sense though, as Secret Machines opened for them when they played the Docks a number of years ago. And if you haven't seen it yet, today's Eye Weekly has gone all-Pilgrim, despite being the weekly that never got a shout-out from Bryan Lee O'Malley.
