I shot from around the booths on the right side for a few songs. Or rather I attempted to. It’s hard to focus with the camera held above your head on live view. And when the crowd keeps slamming into you. One photo that wasn’t a pile of mush. Right after Iggy invited a bunch of the crowd onto the stage, things shifted dramatically, and everyone near me was squashed up against the booths. I slipped out to the side street (sort of like pulling your foot out of a boot – except the foot was me) as the cops were coming in.

I did a walk-around after that, and settled back by Iggy’s limo behind the stage. Might as well see him as he exits. There were a half-dozen Saskatoon policemen lined up along Iggy’s limo, protecting it from potential G20 hordes. Another dozen Toronto cops lined the way from the back of the stage to the limo. I’m sure Iggy was never better protected.
