And I agree that Sound Academy use to be a terrible venue. But I was there in September for a show, and they have reno'ed the space and put in a new sound system. The have also adressed the poor sight lines. The show (Cut Copy/Presets) was actually really enjoyable. It's still a shitstorm to get to though. Animal Collective announcement is exciting. You should know a couple of the others - Bryan Lee O'Malley has posted a small photo collage on his site of the various peoples (radiomaru.com). This move HAS to succeed - it has a Culkin in it...
