No word on the fate of Ailidh Lennon? Her absence was a bit weird -- and the fact that the band didn't acknowledge it. But the dude who replaced her knew his parts cold.

By the way, no "schadenfreude" intended in my previous comment on the Noel attack, in fact I had been enjoying them immensely up to that point and was quite disturbed when it happened. Just saying that they do put out an attitude, and sometimes attitude provokes a response. But nobody deserves that. Apparently London (Ontario) is paying the biggest price.

One last note on the Festival in general -- I have to feel bad for some of the third stage bands (case in point, Rock Plaza Central), who not only played to often sparse crowds, but had to somehow compete with the mainstage vs. second stage thunder directed their way. A tradeoff I guess between having a buffer zone and keeping the walking distance between stages manageable. And from an audience perspective, don't get me started on having to tune out the constant thump from the DJ tent when listening to a mainstage band. Oh yeah, it's a Festival!
