Had a nice chat with Basia's Mom yesterday at Soundscapes. I now know that Basia is pronounced Bash-a.

Basha's disc is lovely and I can't wait for Friday's LOLA concert.

I got shut out on Neil tickets. I’m totally bummed. This might be the first time I will miss him in Toronto since 1988 (yes, I saw the Bluenotes and all three Greendale shows in Toronto – I’m a little Neil-obsessed).
