The Arcade Fire was freakishly amazing last night. That was my third time seeing them and they still surpass my expectations.

Don’t worry about not getting close enough for decent photos though. The crowd wasn’t pushy or anything, and we stood up front the whole time. The venue is weird because it’s a movie theatre and there’re seats, but there’s space to stand up front.

Actually – you probably weren’t at the show of the year – it was Sunday night at Lee’s. Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. They are touring – all i can say is GO!!! It takes an incredible performer to make a Lee’s crowd do what they did. Mind-boggling.

I agree about Arcade Fire last night. Truly epic and original. It made me wish I had tickets for tonights show as well.

One piece of advice: If you go outside between sets, make sure you get a wristband, otherwise security will not let you back in.

i really hope AF are as good as i hear they were last night and by the sounds of it even if you lineup at a normal hour you should still be able to get a good spot. a guy reported that after wolf parade’s set, half the people went outside to smoke and there was lots of room to get closer near the front.

i do not want to get my hopes too high but at the same time its hard not to.
