Ti Ki is pretty slow paced, and I wish it had a bit more development. Di Do is pretty creepy when all the voices crescendo and it ruins the mood the rest of the music establishes. I’d call the EP ambitious, but given the circumstances of <a href="http://…/ project</a>, the entire thing was an ambitious undertaking. I’d love to see a DVD to understand how this music matches up with the dancing.

I also thought House of Flying Daggers was incredible and beautiful. That man cannot make a scene not beautiful.

I think it runs all this week, but aren’t certain. They were a little picked over today when I went in – got the Daniel Johnston tribute album which is better than I expected, but they were sold out of the Patterson Hood record, which is what I was really looking for. Oh well. Scored a couple Spacemen 3 albums on eBay so the day is a triumph regardless.
