Don’t Forget The Flowers
It’s Rememberance Day and to my mild shame, I do not now nor have I in the past few weeks had a poppy on my coat. Unbelivable as it may seem, I haven’t come across a single poppy-selling veteran in my daily travels through the city. If I had, I surely would have bought one… I didn’t go and seek one out since I thought (wrongly it would seem) that it wouldn’t be hard at all to find one. I even briefly thought about picking one up on the floor of the subway station, but decided against it.
I do remember, though.
