Rain Parade

The city’s in the middle of one of the more impressive thunder and lightning storms in recent months. I can’t see the sky on account of the night and being indoors, but I can hear it. The lightning is steady enough that I question the wisdom of sitting on my computer in the midst of it all. I actually find the flash and crash very relaxing. The city needs a good dousing every now and again, it’ll be good and washed clean for the start of the week tomorrow. This’ll probably be the last thunderstorm of the year – after this, the skies will decide to just cover up that which it finds displeasing instead of trying to wash it away.
